Description

The South African conscious rapper TUMI and the trio Chinese Man take you on a journey to the heart of their musical encounter. For the production, the three "Chinese" disciples draw from the most obscure record crates: banjo techniques, 1930s music, Andean flute... The goal is simple: to venture beyond the usual realms explored by sample addicts, straying as far as possible from hip-hop, only to return with fresh perspectives. These are complemented by TUMI's lyrics, oscillating between irony and bitterness.
