Thaiboy Digital & Swedm - Paradise [LP]

Transparent vinyl, gatefold jacket. Drain Gang founding member Thaiboy Digital and Swedish production collective swedmr (Varg²T, Eurohead, jamesjamesjames) unite for a run of transnational club anthems that balance euphoric lift with emotional weight on their new album 'Paradise' -Together, Thaiboy Digital and swedmr operate at the intersection of rap swagger and mainstage transcendence, resisting the business techno status quo one ecstatic drop at a time. 'Paradise' moves fluidly between extremes: from the insouciant ambition of "Silk Road" to the shadowy pulse of "Euro Dollar Yen," through to the celestial propulsion of "Zatoichi", the Bladee-featuring "Irish Tears" and "Solitary", and the filtered lightness of "Destiny." Across the record, swedmr's hypersaturated synth work and kinetic arrangements provide the perfect counterpoint to Thaiboy's direct, feeling-first delivery.
