[PRE-ORDER] Soul On The Real Sdie 19 / Various (Aniv) (Spec) - Soul On The Real Sdie 19 / Various (Aniv) (Spec) [CD]

The Real Side team are back with a Christmas Soul Special brought to you by Joe Boy, Santa's Class of Christmas 2026 and the Architects of Soul.VOLUME 19 once again delivers a unique playlist of soulful gems culled from the Charly archives and independent labels. We open in true style with the acclaimed "Little Girl" by Corey Glover, originally released on his 1998 album 'Hymns'. Our, previously unheard, version was recorded shortly after release, 10th June 1998, at the famed 2 Meter Studios in Netherlands. It is the ultimate rendition with Corey feeling every second of the 5:20 opus. We continue in Real Side style with perennial favourites care of Baby Huey, Eddie Billups, Gene Townsel, Lee Bates at al. Check out Ruby Andrews' Zodiac recording "It Takes Me Away", heard here for the first time with the complete take and remaster. Also from the 2 Meter Studios, early this year, we showcase, for the first time, Michelle David's sublime "When All Is Said And Done." James Holvay rounds off the album with an unreleased rework of his beater "Still The Fool", set to be recorded in 2027 by Thelma Jones.Happy Christmas from the Real Side team and all at Charly.PEACE, LOVE, SOUL
