New York City-based jazz singer Laura Anglade was born in the south of France and raised in Connecticut. She spent several years living in Canada, where she pursued her studies in translation, before relocating to New York City to pursue a full-time career in music. Her style recalls vocal jazz stars like Samara Joy, Diana Krall, and Stella Cole, and legends like Nancy Wilson, Sarah Vaughan and Anita O'Day.This deluxe digipak CD edition of her most recent album, 'Get Out of Town', features the previously unreleased tracks "The Shadow of Your Smile," (Johnny Mandel/Paul Francis Webster), "You Turned the Tables on Me," (Louis Alter/Sidney D.
