Originally pressed in a mere 25 copies, it remained virtually unheard for decades until it's 2020 reissue by Seelie Court. Strang, who later became a leading authority on addiction psychiatry, recorded this album at just 17 years old in Wales. The album features a blend of introspective lyrics and minimalist acoustic arrangements, drawing comparisons to early Donovan. Notably, it includes multiple versions of the title track, "Masterpeace," showcasing the band's experimental approach. This release offers a rare glimpse into the formative years of an artist who would go on to make significant contributions to both music and medicine.
