[PRE-ORDER] Dire Straits - Communique - Shm Paper Sleeve (Jmlp) (Shm) (Jpn) [CD]

Dire Straits' second album, originally released in 1979 and reaching No. 5 in the UK and No. 11 in the US, was produced by Jerry Wexler and Barry Beckett and features standout tracks such as "Once Upon a Time in the West" and "Lady Writer." This release is part of a worldwide simultaneous reissue of the band's six-album catalog in cardboard sleeve jacket format and marks the final recording with Mark Knopfler's younger brother, David Knopfler, on guitar. The jacket is a miniature reproduction of the original UK first-press LP, accompanied by a reproduction obi strip based on the Japanese first-press LP design, and includes an inner sleeve, liner notes, lyrics, and Japanese translations. Presented in SHM-CD format.
